NL40-5046; 1940's  Nightgown

15-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by mail order company Anne Cabot, this pattern is multi-sized, 'It's annoying to shop for nightgowns only to find apparently that all the nightgowns in the country are made for girls in the 'half-pint' class!  The gown illustrated is for the larger girl and matron of size 42", 44" and 46".  As pretty as a house gown with its sash ties, capped sleeves and scalloped neckline.  Make it in white, in flowered silk rayon crepe or satin'. 

5/8" seams are given.

Sizes 42-46 fits 42-46" bust, 36-42" waist, 45-53" hip.
