D40-4348; 1942 Dress

11-piece digitally-drafted pattern originally by Vogue, 'One-piece dress with high round neckline extended shoulders and draped, bias-cut blouse front.  Front blouse fulness is laid in soft pleats at the armhole.
Seam at waist across back and side fronts under matching or novelty belt.  Blouse extends to join skirt in point at front.  Slim four-piece skirt with shallow un-pressed pleats on either side of center front seam.
The optional peplum is draped into four un-pressed pleats at each side front and joins the blouse to the skirt.  Long fitted or bracelet length sleeves.  Loop and button closing at back neck'.

5/8" seams are given.
