U20-8263; 1929 Garter Belt

4-piece pattern originally from German Beyer's Modenblatt, there are two wide elastics at front with clips to hold the stockings. Shown in silk/cotton sateen and, as worn under the 1936 Evening Underwear from our pattern U30-1517.

Recommended fabrics are: Heavy silk satin, heavy silk crepe, taffeta, silk/cotton blend.

This pattern is for the more advanced sewer as instructions are very basic and un-illustrated.

5/8" seams are given.

Sizes:

Set A fits 14-40 (26" to 34" waist, 35" to 43" hip).

Set B fits 40-48 (34" to 42" waist, 43" to 51" hip).
