Acc30-1353; 1934 Hat, Collar, Purse & Gloves

21-piece hand-drafted pattern originally by Simplicity for the hat, 12-piece collar, purse and gloves.  Gloves are shown in the model photo, made from heavy silk crepe.

1/2" seams are given.

Bust size 40-42, head size 23", glove size 6-3/4 to 7.  Measure your head with a cloth dressmaker’s tape about ½” above your eyebrows where the hat will rest.  If you are without a tape measure, use a piece of string and measure it against a yard stick.  Err on the larger size if your measurement is not exact.  See diagram.

To find your glove measurement, measure around the widest part of the hand (usually around the knuckles at the base of the fingers).  See thumbnail.
